I have been doing Homestay since 2006 for ANU students since 2006. The fee then was $250/week. Available to responsible, reliable, clean and tidy student, nonsmoker - to share house with an older person with many years experience as a homestay.
The house has:
* quality facilities and furnishings
* large open living spaces
* great backyard and garden all around
* short walk to Lanyon shops
On offer:
* spacious room
* bed, bedside table, study table and chair, wardrobe
* use of main bathroom/toilet with bidet
* utilities included
* privacy and personal space
* shared cleaning of common areas, all guest areas your responsibility.
Bus/Transport
Located along a main bus route to Tuggeranong, Woden, City; convenient express bus to Canberra City, the Australian National University, Canberra Institute of Technology. The bus stop is right in front of the house.
Airport pickup charge applies.
What is required of you: Mutual respect for privacy, for each other, and property.
